Walker Lake is a jewel of the Rio Grande Valley, located in La Joya, Texas. There are 237 lots, many with waterfront, and several maintained common areas with picnic and boating facilities. Walker Lake is served by a home owners association, and membership is mandatory. Walker Lake Homeowners, Inc. (Walker Lake HOA) is a tax-exempt corporation chartered in 1994, created to promote the welfare and protect property values of the Palm Shores Subdivision, Unit 1 development (Walker Lake).
